Visit to the Donkey Sanctuary The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary has been a registered charity since 1991 and provides a secure, peaceful, happy, lifelong home for over 100 donkeys which have been neglected, abandoned, or that are in need of care. Set in 55 acres of the picturesque Wroxall valley, with a wildlife area to explore, shop and café inside a converted rustic barn. Get up close to the donkeys, take part in one of our activities such as donkey grooming or shetland slalom, pick up a souvenir of your visit in Browse and Brays gift shop, or take out an adoption of any of our donkeys and ponies.

Steam Train Ride & Ryde  :Free time in Ryde with an afternoon train ride. Ride behind one of the vintage steam locomotives for a special journey back in time. Breathe in the evocative smells of a real steam railway, while your eyes and ears thrill to the puffing and hissing of the steam engine. Settle back in beautifully restored Victorian and Edwardian carriages and enjoy a unique view of some of the Island’s unspoiled countryside.
