Heartbeat Country: Our Heartbeat Country Tour not only takes you to the heart (pardon the pun) of the filming location, but also gives you a feel for the wider area of the North York Moors National Park with its large expanse of heather moorland.We will travel to Pickering and on to Goathland, there will be a option to have a train ride from Pickering to Goathland on the Harry Potter train (extra cost) Pickering Station is a must-see 1930’s themed station that will transport you back in time to the locomotive steam era. Goathland station has featured as Hogsmead in the Harry Potter films as well as featuring as Aidensfield Station in Heartbeat. You could take a walk around the village which doubled as the fictional 1960’s Aidensfield in the TV series and visit Bernie Scripps Garage and the Funeral Parlour. You will also be able to see the post office, stores and maybe have a drink in the Aidensfield Arms pub!
