Restoration began when the present owner, Penny Streeter OBE, acquired the estate in 2017. Penny and her team are dedicated to restoring, maintaining and further improving the gardens and buildings so that the public can once again experience their beauty and special qualities.

Restaurant Interlude, who received 1 star in the MICHELIN Guide Great Britain & Ireland 2020 and Afternoon Tea are served in the Leonardslee House and casual fare is served in the Clock Tower Cafe, Courtyard Cafe and other food stations throughout the gardens.
