2018 will mark the Centenary of World War 1 (1914-1918) ending, celebrate all things British with the D-Day Divas.
Visit Stow Maries Aerodrome for an experience like no other. Not only will you have a guided tour and a War-time style afternoon tea, you will be transported back in time by the D-Day Divas who will perform classic songs such as ‘Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy’ and ‘White Cliffs of Dover’ to match the 1940s theme of this day out.
Your guided tour of this WW1 aerodrome with an experienced in-house guide, will consist of two short films in the Mess Hall and a tour of the aircraft restoration project in the onsite hangers.
Be prepared for a feast when your War-style afternoon tea is served in the beautiful Mess Hall itself, which is decorated with Union Jack flags and bunting. Tuck into a variety of sandwiches, sausage rolls and cake, which is served with tea or coffee, as you are swept away by the D-Day Divas.
