No trip to see the Dutch Bulbfields is complete without a visit to Keukenhof Gardens, which is known as ‘The Greatest Flower Show on Earth’. Every year, almost a million people flock from all over the world to see the world’s largest bulb garden come to life with displays of tulips, hyacinths and daffodils. You can also admire the colourful arrays of ornamental shrubs, blossoming fruit trees, natural woodland and perhaps pick up some ideas or buy some bulbs for your own garden.
A day at leisure to explore Volendam this old town with various parts still dating back to the 17th Century backed by traditional houses. This little town has so much to offer, its well known for its old fishing boats and the traditional clothing still worn by some residents.
